On Top Clock provides a date and time display that remains visible while other applications are running. It stays "on top" even when you click to refresh the view of another page. A sweep second hand may be displayed, to provide a more visual representation of the seconds. The clock face does not have an hour hand or a minute hand; the hours and minutes are displayed only in digital format. The day of the week can be displayed by a single mouse click. The time display can be set to either AM-PM format or to 24 hour format. A borderless display mode is available, to keep the screen space covered by the clock to a minimum. The time is reported to the second. However, the accuracy is no more than one-half second: On Top Clock is not intended to be a high precision timer. The date and time are obtained from the internal PC clock, and therefore can be no more accurate than the time reported by the PC itself. When using the On Top Clock as a reference, be careful to allow for the degree of accuracy of both the On Top Clock and the internal PC clock. The time reported by the On Top Clock is exactly the same time reported by the PC. There is NO synchronization with any external time source. If you use the On Top Clock to know when to stop work and make a phone call, or when to stop work and turn on the television for your favorite program, be sure the time is set correctly in your PC. If you use the On Top Clock to bid snipe on eBay® or some other online auction forum, be sure you know how much time difference there is between the clock in your PC and the master clock used by the online auction. On Top Clock can not control these external factors and we do not want you to be disappointed. Use common sense and due caution. The installation program for On Top Clock will add an icon in the All Programs menu, and an icon on the desktop. The installation program will also create an uninstall entry in the Windows® Add/Remove Programs function. On Top Clock can be removed from your system through the Add/Remove Programs function. On Top Clock is an on-screen date and time display for Windows®-based PCs running Windows® 98, 2000, or XP. Other versions of Windows® are not supported.
